The current webcomic has a long history. First there were two print novels, Fool for Love and A Queer Circle of Friends. When I started the third novel, A Queer Turn of Events, I decided to do so as an illustrated online serial. After 20 installments, I gave in to the urge to tell the story as a true webcomic. (I call the first 20 installments Episode 0.)

  • Fool for Love and A Queer Circle of Friends are print novels available on Lulu.com and other online booksellers.
  • The first 20 chapters of A Queer Turn of Events, Episode 0, is an illustrated story.
  • Episodes 1, 2 and 3 of A Queer Turn of Events are web comics.

About WizzyWig.net

WizzyWig.net was created as a placeholder in early 2006, once I wrote the name into Queer Circle. The first content was the DOR 2006 page that went up in November of that year.

Wizzy Wig* is the gender performance troupe / genderpunk band formed in A Queer Circle of Friends. The name comes from the acronym WYSIWYG — What You See Is What You Get.

The first two Queer Circle novels were fiction, young adult coming out / coming of age / slice of life stories with a liberal amount of romance and more than a little drama. A Queer Turn of Events has made a sharp turn toward the speculative, or supernatural.

The first two novels in the series, A Fool for Love and A Queer Circle of Friends, are available as printed books or PDF downloads from Lulu.com. Click on a book cover to go to my Lulu web store.

A Queer Turn of Events may be published as a print novel in the summer of 2009. It would mostly be words, and tell a more complete story, but there would still be illustrations.
