A Queer Turn of Events - Episode Three map

Sandy Welcome to Episode Three of A Queer Turn of Events, the webcomic that continues my Queer Circle genderqueer youngish adult novels (more info on LisaLees.com). With this episode I changed from the four-panel vertical strip format back to a full page format, and I try very hard to finish a full page each week. Made On a Mac

My comics begin life as pencil sketches inked with a 0.05 Staedtler pigment liner. I use Adobe Photoshop to scan and resize art; Manga Studio to put things together, edit, tone, letter and color; Adobe Illustrator for wallpapers. I draw sitting on the floor at my kotatsu, using a 0.5 mm HB pencil and laser printer paper in a clipboard. (I have vision problems such that a normal drawing table doesn't work for me.) My computer is a PowerMac G5.

I work part time in the LBGT Resource Center at a large midwestern university, do a lot of volunteer work with a children's theater company, and have two older-teen children of my own. In addition to writing and drawing, my hobbies include reading manga and watching anime, playing guitar, keeping up my French and learning Japanese and a little Korean. I try to do my best, develop a consistent style and tell an interesting story. Thank you very much for taking the time to visit; constructive comments are always welcome!
