Ohayo! Welcome to A Queer Turn of Events, the webcomic that is the third of the Queer Circle genderqueer youngish adult novels by Lisa Lees. 1-1 was inked and toned in Manga Studio. After that, I decided to just use my pencil sketches as-is to save time. (Still using Manga Studio for panels, text and changes to art.) The TDOR page I again inked and toned, in color this time. Pages 15 & 16 are pencil sketches colored using Prismacolor pencils. Page 17 and the new wallpaper I did using Adobe Illustrator.
I have been a comics fan all my life and have often drawn isolated strips, but this is my first continuing effort. It's taking me a while to figure out how to do a page a week in addition to my LBGT Resource Center day job and my children's theater pseudo-job; I'm afraid I've been sloppy in a few places. Sorry! I'm trying hard to do my best, develop a consistent style and tell an interesting story. Thank you so much for taking the trouble to visit!
